NaNoWriMo 2013

I’m charting my daily progress on NaNoWriMo. Since you may or may not care, I’ll kindly hide it. Thanks for taking the time. :)

Notes:

  • The last 300 or 400 words were a summary of a bunch of ideas I had about where the story might be headed, and exhorting myself to get around to making it more interesting. It doesn’t have to be boring. But it is. :)
  • Introducing a recurring character that I am really getting to like. He’s a bit part, but I keep coming up with neat things for him to get into. Tonight, I gave him a GED, a job at a tattoo shop, and a potential girlfriend for the future. You never know what’s going to spring, fully formed, out of your head until you sit down to write.
  • Most interesting thing I had to look up: How to become a tattoo artist.
  • How tired I was when I posted this: I hit Preview and thought I had published it. So . . . even though this has a time stamp of 11/6/2013 at 23:59, it was actually PUBLISHED at 7:52 the next morning. That tired.
