NaNoWriMo 2012, Day 15 – The Halfway Point

Notes:
- Now, that is more like it. Hit my stride big-time today, and I think caught up with the last couple of days.
- Continued to write about psionics tonight. Wrapped up psychometry, moved onto wards, shields, clair-x (see below), remote viewing, and astral projection. I think I might be done with psionics. Maybe it’s time to move onto the actual ‘arcane’ powers of magic to see what I can come up with there.
- Unless, of course, anyone can think of other “ESP” type powers that I’m leaving out that do not involve any sort of seeing into the future. I’ve outlawed that altogether in my universe. No prophecies for me.
- I looked up psychometry and clairvoyance to get the “textbook” definitions, which I then tweaked a little to work for my universe. I also discovered that in addition to clairvoyance, there is also clairaudience (which I knew about), clairgustance (taste), clairalience (smell), and clairsentience (touch). Those I did not know about. Coolness. I can practically smell the future plots coming out of this. (Do you see what I did, there?)
