Notes:

  • Tonight, I wrote like the wind from 11:10 when I got home until the stroke of midnight, when I entered my word total. Like Cinderella, only not. I wasn’t motivated at lunch to write, and then work was busy, so I didn’t get to write during that, and then I had critique group with the Forum Writers, and after that I had dinner . . . I’m lucky I got as much time as I did.
  • I wrote all about psychometry tonight. Psychometry, for those of you who don’t know, is when a psychic holds or touches an object belonging to, say, a missing person, and can tell about that person, and perhaps where they are, using the “connection” from the object to them. But the bond depends on how much they love the item, how often they use it, and how long it’s been since they had it on them. If only this kind of thing worked in real life, there would be no cold cases.
  • I didn’t look up anything tonight because I wrote like the wind. 1712 words in under 40 minutes is not bad, I’d say. And that’s with backspaces and some self-editing as I went. I’m actually impressed by that number. :)
